The History of Home Theatre Associates
Home Theatre Associates has been a leader in the home theater industry since its inception in 1994. Over the years, the company has successfully completed thousands of projects, transforming entertainment experiences for countless clients. Starting on the shoreline in northeastern Connecticut as a part-time job, Jeff would try to find clients by hanging out at retail electronics stores, and convincing people to have their system installed well beyond what they would think of doing themselves. He worked up enough experience over several years to finally make a actual company that soon became the go to A/V Contractor for most of the major Custom Home Builders all over the Shoreline of CT. When the workload became too overwhelming, Jeff hired and personally trained his team to do things the "RIGHT WAY". Once the team got assembled, Home Theatre Associates expanded their project size by leaps and bounds. It was common for Home Theatre Associates to be balancing several six figure projects at the same time in the prestigious Fairfield County, and Northern Shoreline, and even clients who had luxury apartments in NYC.

In 2011, Jeff met his then girlfriend Laureen who lived in Boston. After dating for a few years, moved to the Northshore of Massachusetts, and after a couple of years got married. Starting new in MA, he still commuted back to CT and stayed for the week and was only home on the weekend. After several years of the CT commutes, and establishing a base of clients in MA, NH, and ME, Home Theatre Associates was awarded the "Best Of Northshore" award for Home Theatre Design and Installation in 2025. 2026 and beyond Home Theatre Associates will continue to learn and strive to be at the forefront of promoting the advancement of Custom Installation of Luxury Home Electronics. Jeff still services and does installations for his clientele in CT to this day.
